Aru balm Indian Gallnut, also known in Tibetan as Aru, is prepared according to Tibetan Science of Healing. It gives relief from cold, influenza, headache, insect bites, itching, muscle pain, sprains and rheumatism.
The ointment provides relief from cold and wind for severe and sore muscles, rhinitis, catarrh, edema, fever and blockages. Stimulates the nervous system. Effective moisturizer for rough and gentle skin and relieves skin irritations. Helps reduce nosebleeds due to excessive sniffing. Has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial activity.
Aru Balm is based on Tibetan medical texts. The ointment’s name comes from the constituent Myrobalan (Terminalia chebula Rertz), in Tibetan ARU.
Rub on slightly affected area, nostrils or appendages. Rub long enough for the skin to become slightly warm and the cream to absorb. For external use only.
