Significance of The Copper Devi Snake Ring

You may have noticed me wearing a Devi snake ring. You may even be wearing one right now. But you may not know the purpose and significance behind wearing these copper or silver rings on the Left hand ring finger.

In short, one’s physical body is connected to a whole living energy body system…this energy is generally referred to as either Prana or Shakti, they flow through the body in certain established patterns; they do not move randomly. There are 72,000 different pathways in which they may express themselves within and around the Physical Body. In other words, there are 72,000 pathways in the Energetic system through which it is flowing. Nadis are pathways or channels in our energy system. They do not have a physical manifestation; if you nick or cut yourself and look “inside”, you will not find these Nadis. But as you become more and more Self Aware, you will notice the energy within and around you is moving with intelligence not randomness; it is moving in established ancient intelligent pathways…

………it is said that one who has mastery over his ring finger can rewrite anybody’s destiny. If I just touch my ring finger in a certain way I can rewrite your destiny - if the Mother agrees. It is a whole esoteric science unto itself.

See, your finger can be divided into three portions by the lines drawn on it. The first portion of the ring finger, from the tip onwards, carries lifetimes of experience. Everything is recorded there. Everything is written into this section whether by touch or Mudra - in these sections are fine details, every bit, every millimeter is rich with life.   Every micro millimeter is different. The skill to “read” these accurately is bestowed on us from the MaHaVidyas and generationally carried through out time.

If you know how to handle your ring finger like you handle a computer mouse, you can scroll through all of your lifetimes. If you have mastery over the ring finger, you can do miraculous things to/for yourself and also to the external personal and transpersonal situations.

The second portion of your ring finger has elaborate detail of your Prarabdha. The base digit can be used to predict future possibilities, based on the past accumulations of karma and the present expressions of the prarabdha.

Prarabdha is that portion of the past karma which is responsible for the present body. That portion of the sanchita karma which influences human life in the present incarnation is called prarabdha. It is ripe for reaping. It cannot be avoided or changed without the Mothers direct intervention.

In our tradition, for everything that we do, we must use the ring finger. All the Nadis are activated by touching certain portions of the finger. If you want to take vibhuthi or kumkum, utilize this finger to apply it, simply because these are all different ways to defuse the karmic structure.

Even unknowingly if you touch something sacred that has a certain energy quality to it with your ring finger, it dissolves some of your karma; you get to shed some of it….our Ancestors (tradition) attest to this as part of our fundamental movement towards your liberation. This must be approached ever so slowly and masterfully.

Wearing a Devi ring, especially made of pure copper or silver, by an evolving consciousness abiding within the physical - on the ring finger stabilizes the body and provides the fundamental support for sadhana (spiritual practices). With the right kind of sadhana, wearing the Devi snake ring can become a key to mystical dimensions of life.

Our copper and silver snake rings are made under Guru’s Grace of Guidance and go through a process of consecration before they are offered to our MahaVidyas Sangha.

The rings are meant to be worn at all times.
